Dr. Steencken is a native of Central New York and is Board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine. He has been in practice for over 15 years, working with athletes of all ages and levels, as well as in ER and urgent care. A graduate of SUNY Upstate Medical University (2004), he did his residency in Emergency Medicine at St. Luke's Hospital, in Bethlehem, PA (2004 - 2007) and completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at O'Connor Hospital, in San Jose, CA (2008). Dr. Steencken also completed the Small Business Administration Emerging Leaders Initiative (class of 2016) and holds certifications in Nutritional Pain Management and Applied Quantum Biology. 

Dr. Steencken is a member of  the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and National Ski Patrol.

An avid skier and snowboarder, Dr. Steencken has served as Medical Advisor at Song Mountain Ski Patrol since October 2014.

Now he wants to apply his years of experience to helping you achieve your health and wellness goals by providing a more personalized healthcare experience in a time of increasing consolidation and automation in health care.
