WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?

Due to increasing complexity of insurance plans and associated difficulty with obtaining reimbursement, we do not participate with any insurance plans. Your insurance may not reimburse all or even any of the charge, but you will receive a detailed receipt that you may submit to your insurer for reimbursement or as proof for reimbursement from your HSA. This Direct Care model ensures I am providing care that is right for you, and not dictated by what an insurance company will or won't pay for. It also allows me to offer a premium service that is on-demand and comes to you!

WHAT KINDS OF PROBLEMS DO YOU TREAT?

The primary focus of our practice is to optimize health and wellness proactively. However, for our members we are able to treat simple problems that you might otherwise go to your primary doctor for, or to an urgent care to take care of. This includes cough, sore throat or other cold symptoms, urinary tract infection, simple wounds and small abscesses or other skin infections that don't require a procedure such as stitches or incision and drainage. We cannot take care of more serious problems. If you are having chest or abdominal pain, difficulty breathing, weakness, headache, vision change or other signs or symptoms of a serious illness or injury, call 911.

CAN I GET A SAME-DAY APPOINTMENT?

I have many clinical obligations, but my goal is to see you as quickly as possible and as conveniently as possible for you. Same-day appointments are usually the norm, but at a minimum I will see you within 24 hours. When appropriate, using telemedicine facilitates quicker appointments.

DO YOU OFFER FINANCING OPTIONS?

I do not routinely offer financing, but another benefit of Direct Care is the potential to negotiate prices. For example, depending on my schedule or if you have multiple family members that require evaluation I may be able to offer a discount.
